PlayStation 5 owners are using a loophole to sell the PlayStation Plus collection to PlayStation 4 owners, it turns out.

PS Plus subscribers with PS5 will get the PS Plus Collection visible for free. This is a new curated series of 20 PS4 games available for digital download. The list includes some of the biggest hitters like Bloodborn, Days Gone, God of War and Uncharted 4.

As VGC According to reports, it did not take long for PS5 owners to find and exploit a loophole that allowed them to log into their PS4 owner’s account on their PS5, which unlocks the collection games on the PS4.

Can anything be done to stop the PS5 and Xbox Series X Scalper?

And, perhaps inevitably, PS5 owners are selling this unlocked “service” on auction sites. A list on eBay offers Unlock for $ 30. The ad reads “For those who want access to games and only have a PS4 and do not have access to the PS5”. “I will log in with my PS5 with your details, add games and deactivate. I highly advise you to create a temporary password after purchase and create a new one when it is done.”

People are selling PS Plus Collection at auction sites.

Craigslist, along with the Canadian site Kiziji, has similar lists, all of which differ in price. “If you need these games and you do not have a PS5, I can help,” one list reads.

One person reportedly charged more than 20 people 100 each to unlock the PS Plus Collection on their PS4. This is not how the Sony PS Plus Collection was intended to be used, and now there are reports that bans have begun – perhaps automated as a measure to prevent account theft and sales. A Hong Kong-based Twitter user said thousands of PSN accounts were banned in the area.
