The weekend of February 6 to 8 will be very quiet in terms of traffic disruptions in most Montreal area. The Île-aux-Tourtes bridge is subject to temporary work only and will be closed to Westbound trucks.
Highway 40 at Île-aux-Tourtes Bridge
From 6 a.m. Saturday to 5:30 p.m., two of the three lanes on Highway 40 on the west side between Wadrouil-Dorian and Senneville will be closed. Trucks are prohibited on the bridge. They have to make a detour through the Chemin des Anciences-Combatants, the kite bridge, and then join Highway 30 via Highway 30 West.
Long-term shutdown reminders
Highway 20 between exit 56 and lower entrances at the doorwall roundabout is closed in both directions. Roundabout access via Highway 520 was also closed. This work should continue until the spring of 2021.
Exit 4 (Rue de la Montagne and Rue Saint-Jacques) from Route 136 East (A-720) in the Ville-Marie Tunnel will be closed until the spring of 2022.
On the Pi-IX Bridge (Route 125) between Montreal and Laval, only one lane in each direction will be open until February 22nd.
