Russia’s deputy foreign minister threatened the United States on Saturday, saying Russia could target arms supplies to Ukraine, where Russia’s military has been advancing for two weeks.

“We have warned the United States that the distribution of arms from many countries is not only a dangerous act, it is an act of turning convoys into legal targets,” Sergei warned in an interview with Rabkov. Pervi Canal TV Channel.
He specifically cites man-portable air defense systems and anti-tank missile systems.
Mr Ryabkov said Russia’s “security assurances” from the West, including a guarantee that Ukraine would never join NATO, were no longer valid.
“It simply came to our notice then. Referring to the “militarization” of Ukraine called by the Kremlin, the question now is how to achieve the goals of our leaders.
“If the Americans are ready, we can resume dialogue,” he said, noting that Moscow was particularly prepared for early deals to limit nuclear weapons. “It’s all about Washington,” he said.
