Mills has made numerous statements in the past few days, defaming police in connection with Floyd’s death.

“If a police officer is seen kneeling on the neck of a police officer and suffocating him / her, will they wait for his arrest? How different is this?” Mills tweeted.

Mills has come under fire as police across the country have taken drastic measures to control protesters, including tear gas and rubber bullets.
