Regina – Saskatchewan reported 20 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, bringing the total number of active cases to 140.
There are seven new cases in the Saskatoon area, 10 in the Regina area and two in the southeast. The location of a case is pending.
Another man recovered.
Seven new cases reported in the Saskatoon area are related to the previously identified office outreach at Brandt Industries.
That office has 14 cases.
There were 10 people in the hospital. Nine are receiving inpatient care, seven in Saskatoon, one in Regina and one in the South Central region.
One person was in intensive care in Saskatoon.
Of the 140 cases currently active, 27 were found to be related to religious practices.
24 people died.
A total of 1,807 cases and 1,643 recoveries were reported in the province.
As of September 18, the per capita rate of Saskatchewan was 121,091 tested per million population. The national rate was 174,362 tested per million population.
A total of 2,426 Kovid-19 tests were conducted on Saturday in Saskatchewan.
