There is a remake of the cult classic XIII Out, And it sucks! It’s inexpensive, it’s rushed and it takes away some of the things people like about the original, namely its bold cell-shaded comic book art style. For that, both publishers and developers now-only after everyone has banned the game-sorry.
In a joint statement released by the publishers on the site of Microids, they and the developers playmagic (importance mine):
Best wishes,
The much-anticipated remake of XIII came out earlier this week. Unfortunately, players’ expectations were not met by the launch version and we listened out loud and cleared up legitimate criticism and frustration.
First of all, we want to say our most heartfelt apologies for the technical issues of the game. At present, XIII does not meet our quality standards and we fully understand the frustration of the players. The pandemic affected the production of the game on many levels. Pivoting for homework for teams added an unexpected backlog in the development schedule and QA process. We hope to provide a Day One patch that fixes all issues but the development of this update will take longer than expected.
We want to assure you that Playmagic will work hard to solve all the problems of the game. With direct monitoring and multiple patches in the coming days and weeks, we hope to reach the quality level we all expect for the optimal gaming experience. The first update will soon be pushed to address urgent issues with controls, frame rate, collision, rendering and sound. For information on upcoming patches, please follow this link:
In addition, we would like to thank the community for all the feedback. We carefully review each comment and send bugs and issues to the development team. Feel free to send us your feedback and questions: [email protected]
Finally, learn that we are working on a detailed roadmap that highlights the upcoming free additions to game content such as new levels, weapons, skins and modes for native multiplayer.
We aim to please all XIII fans and we work tirelessly to achieve our goal.

Blaming the epidemic is very weak, because they certainly do not have a significant deadline Have Strike with this! At least 2020’s sports games don’t have a need to be a little lighter, But None They are demanding a remake of 2003 Shooter Land this quarter. If the pandemic is causing an “unexpected delay”, just … game delay!
Anyway, I said this last week, but you can Buy original for pocket change, It’s a much better way to play the game than waiting to see if it will somehow become less scary.
