The United States wants more electoral transparency in Haiti

The United States on Monday lamented the lack of transparency in the constitutional referendum in Haiti that President Jovnell Moss wanted and expressed his “deep concern” at the “political stalemate” on the Caribbean island.

“Haiti must hold free, fair and transparent legislative and presidential elections in 2021”, stressed the American mission to the United Nations during the inauguration of Ecuador ‘s new President shortly after meeting with US Ambassador to the UN Linda Thomas-Greenfield in Mr Moisస్టర్s in Quito.
