The World Trade Center promoter is based in Montreal

Silverstein Properties, the real estate developer of the World Trade Center towers, will set up shop in Montreal. The company hopes to set up a large research and development center called Inspire Labs, which will create 30 jobs in the city.

In Montreal, the center is working to transform the application to manage the promoter’s 50,000 tenants as a personalized digital solution. Another project, called RTSP, targets companies looking to provide space for their staff during business trips.

No request for government assistance was made by Silverstein. But the company may benefit from certain programs, especially for research and development.

The leader of the company is reluctant to describe the level of investment, but it can be a strategic asset to the promoter.
