A European company will launch a brand new cruise ship in 2025 that will include the first roller coaster and the first hybrid water slide at sea.
The Norwegian Aqua Norwegian Cruise Line’s newest cruise ship.
The ship is scheduled to depart Florida in April 2025 and will take passengers on a seven-day trip to the Caribbean.
Cruises are scheduled to call at various exotic destinations, including Puerto Plata, the Dominican Republic, Tortola, the British Virgin Islands, St. Thomas, the United States Virgin Islands, as well as the cruise line’s private island in the Bahamas.
The Norwegian Aqua Accommodates 3751 passengers in various rooms and suites.
A variety of accommodation options will be on board, including three-bedroom duplex Heaven Suites.
These luxury suites are spread over two floors and have a living room, dining room, three bathrooms, a balcony and floor-to-ceiling windows.
There will also be a range of studio cabins designed for solo travellers.
Along with the rooms, the Norwegian Aqua It will also be home to the first roller coaster at sea and the first hybrid water slide.
The Aqua Slidecoaster consists of two slides and three floors of a ship with a series of twists and turns.
The ship will also be equipped with a new digital sports complex.
The Glow Court features an interactive LED floor where passengers can engage in a variety of activities during the day.
It turns into a nightclub in the evening.
The ship also includes La Gout, a 10-story free-fall slide, and a play area called the “Stadium” where free activities are offered.
Family activities such as Splash Academy for children aged 3 to 12 are also offered on board, while Entourage is a dedicated area for teenagers.
The ship features an infinity pool, a main beach with lounge chairs and an adults-only beach club.
Other outdoor spaces include a walkway that goes completely around the ship as well as a glass bridge called the “Oceanwalk”.
At Infinity Beach, guests will find several swimming pools facing each side of the ship.
There will also be an open-air lounge called “La Terraza” where passengers can enjoy more views.
Passengers will be able to reserve their space for the ship’s maiden voyages starting today.
