Tropical cyclone Eta formed in the Caribbean late Saturday, equaling the record for the most named hurricanes in a single Atlantic hurricane season.
The U.S. National Hurricane Center advised that the system could reach winds of up to 65 kilometers per hour by the end of Saturday. It is located 435 kilometers southeast of Kingston, Jamaica.
Forecasters expect Eta to become a hurricane by Monday. The system is expected to be near the northeastern coasts of Nicaragua and Honduras on Monday night. Hurricane watch issued for regions of both countries. 24 km per hour west of Eta.
