New York | The Trump organization, an affiliate of the family of former U.S. President Donald Trump, is under criminal investigation, the New York State Prosecutor announced Tuesday.

“We have informed the Trump agency that our investigation into this agency is no longer civil in nature,” said Fabian Levy, a spokesman for New York State Attorney Letitia James.
“We are now actively investigating the Trump organization in criminal matters along with the Manhattan prosecutor,” she said.
The Trump Organization is made up of hundreds of businesses associated with hotels, real estate companies and golf courses with Donald Trump or his relatives.
Manhattan prosecutor Cyrus Vance, Democrat, first launched an investigation into payments made to two mistresses of a Republican billionaire before the 2018 presidential election, and has now expanded to allegations of tax evasion and tax evasion. Insurance or bank fraud.
