Tunisia rolls out, Mali and Ivory Coast stall

DZfoot List for CAN (3/3)

This is a continuation of the second day of CAN 2022 (originally postponed to CAN 2021 2022). Tunisia was restored by the suppression of Mauritania, while Mali and C కోట్te d’Ivoire were executed.

Most surprising during Algeria’s defeat to Equatorial Guinea (0-1), Tunisia’s neighbors regained their colors by beating Mauritania 4-0. The Eagles of Carthage scored their first three points, especially with a double from Khazri, but the Maurabitowns may have already been eliminated in Group F.

Another competing outsider disappointed Mali. In a closed match, the Malians opened the scoring at 67, topping Group F, before a surprise draw from the Gambia at the end of the match. All scenarios in this group are still possible.

Finally, in Group E, Algeria, C కోట్te d’Ivoire and Sierra Leone neutralized each other. The elephants, however, started scoring through Haller, who was eventually caught by the scorer. Their second goal was eventually rendered almost useless by the fault of their injured goalkeeper Sangare by taking hands on the catastrophic lawn at Japoma Stadium. The 2-2 final score and its four teams can still be seen in Group E.
