Two women kicked off a plane for wearing crop tops

Two young American women who were supposed to fly to New Orleans on Friday for a friend's birthday party were kicked off the plane at the Los Angeles airport in California for an unlikely reason.

While comfortably seated in their seats on a Spirit Airlines flight, Tresa Araujo and Tara were scolded by a flight attendant who ordered them to dress up because they were wearing crop tops.

The 34-year-old woman, wearing jeans and a crop top with an available jacket, had to put on her short sweater before taking it off again because it was hot in the cabin. Surya” reported.

“Other passengers joined in and tried to save us, but the manager told us that if we didn't get off the plane, the police would have to intervene,” Ms. Araujo explained on TikTok.

“At the airport, they explained to us that when someone is kicked off the plane, there is no refund or reassignment to another flight,” the company said, adding that thirty people had to book another flight. The incident is being investigated.
