We have another busy and exciting week in the tech world. The week started with news Apple Holds a virtual product launch event on October 13th, where the new iPhone 12 will be the star of the lineup show. It is rumored that we may see four new iPhone 12 models with features like 5G, the newest A14 bionic processor and the new lidar scanner. In other news, Amazon has announced that it will be hosting the Great Indian Festival from October 17. The month-long online shopping event brings more customers into Amazon’s ecosystem. Meanwhile, video-sharing platform TickTalk is now banned in Pakistan for “immoral” and “obscene” videos.

Apple is setting the October 13 ‘Hi, Speed’ event for the iPhone 12 premiere

Earlier this week, Apple planned to hold a virtual event on October 13th. “Speed” refers to the new iPhone 12 models that are expected to support 5G. Analysts expect Apple to release four new models in the iPhone 12 lineup. Apple usually unveils new iPhones in September, but for a reason Kovid-19, The company had earlier announced that the launch of the iPhone would be delayed by a few weeks. Pakistan bans ticking on ‘obscene’ videos

Pakistan is the latest country to ban the controversial video sharing app TikTok. The app was banned by the country’s telecom regulator after TickTalk failed to remove “immoral” and “obscene” content from its video-sharing platform. According to analytics firm Censor Tower, more than 43 million ticks have been installed in Pakistan. Last month, Pakistan banned several popular dating apps, including Tinder and Grinder, with the intention of restricting “immoral” and “obscene” content. Tic Tac Toe, owned by China Tech Company BitDance, has already been banned in India.
