The Braves are now leading the final 3-1 clash and will be able to close the books by getting their hands on the Championship in Atlanta again on Sunday.

The hosts took the lead for the first time in their seventh round of batting. Danceby Swanson first hit the ball too far into the right stand, tying the tie 2-2.

Not only did he recover from the uprising, pitcher Christian Javier (0-1) had to face alternate hitter George Soler, who sent him into the showers after the third of the inning. The Cuban hit Javier’s submission on the left-field fence, the ball narrowly escaping from outfielder Jordan Alvarez. The latter formed a tight connection with the barricade and needed a few moments to get back on his feet.

On the Astros mound, starter Jack Greenke allowed just four hits in as many innings. His teammates scored two points in that series, first on Carlos Korea groundball and then fourth on a long solo ball by Jose Altuay.

Atlanta saw Eddie Rosario cross the plate with the first lightning in the sixth inning.

The Braves trusted Dylan Lee to start the game on the mound, but he gave way to Kyle Wright after a third in the inning. The second allowed one point out of five hits from safe space – including a home run – as well as three walks. He also spent three batters in the mitzvah.

However, in the seventh inning, Tyler Matzek (1-0) recorded a victory over the mound. Will Smith, meanwhile, added a second save to his record.

This is the seventh consecutive victory in this playoff schedule for the Georgian delegation, who have equaled the major league baseball record.
