“This is an opportunity for Canadians to hear directly from President Zhelensky about the urgent and dire situation facing the Ukrainian people,” he wrote in a letter.
Following the intervention of the President of Ukraine, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and other party leaders are expected to speak, as well as the Speaker of the Senate and the Speaker of the House.
Recall that Volodymyr Zhelensky asked for additional assistance from the United States before the American Congress last week, with the aim of requesting a no-fly zone in the British Parliament thereafter.
Finally, US $ 67.5 million worth of military aid has flowed into Ukraine since the beginning of the invasion.
