The TD Aeroplan Visa Unlimited Card is special if you’re traveling with Air Canada.
“It’s a card that comes with about $800 in Aeroplans in the first three months, after meeting certain conditions,” he explained.
The Scotiabank Gold Amex Card offers up to 6% cashback on certain expenses like groceries.
“There are a lot of merchants that don’t accept American Express cards, so it’s hard to collect points, but they’re a little more generous,” says Hardbacon’s co-founder.
If you love hotel stays then the Colbolt Card from American Express may be for you.
“It offers a hotel collection package that gives you a $100 credit if you book two nights at a hotel through the application portal,” he said.
According to this expert, the WestJet RBC MasterCard is the best for traveling in North America.
“Every year, we benefit from a $100 ticket from our guide”, mentioned Hardbacon’s CEO.
The CIBC Aventura Visa Card is unique because it has no annual fee.
“The problem with cards that offer discounts is that we add up to our monthly cell phone bills and even if we think to cancel it after a year, we forget and we’re stuck,” he says.
