Trump did not address the election defeat at the Rose Garden event

President Trump was close to acknowledging that he would not run for president after Friday, Jan. 20, but could not acknowledge his loss, swearing that his administration would not order new coronavirus lockdowns.

“I do not – this administration will not lockdown. If anything happens in the future – who knows what administration this will be? I think time will tell – but I can tell you that this administration will not go to lockdown,” Trump said in Rose Garden, his first public remarks in days.

Trump’s acceptance to suggest that there may be a different administration next year has gone a long way in determining the election results he is currently running for.

When he did not go ahead to publicly state that he would retire soon, Trump gave the opening.

“This administration will not go through the lockdown under any circumstances, but we will be very vigilant. Be very careful,” he said.
