The stunning video posted on Twitter shows a shy, barefoot woman being stabbed twice in the face by a Baltimore cop – and then tapped into the cold by another officer.
Friday’s video The night’s incident shows the woman shouting at the officers before trying to hold her hand and trying to get away.
Before the second officer clenches her hands from behind, she punches the cop on her face.
But she breaks free and ties the fist back to the face.
That’s when another officer threw a punch – sending the woman straight to the ground.
Her body was visible for several seconds before an officer stood over her and saw her head lightly lifted.
By Mayor Bernard C. “Jack” Young said the unidentified officer who threw the punch on Saturday was “fired from police duties.” The Baltimore Sun reported.
“I believe the first officer repeatedly assaulted by the woman showed significant restraint by not retaliating as she was assaulted,” Young said in a statement.
“The girl should not be arrested and beaten. Our justice system does not include the concept of eye-to-eye. “
Baltimore was one of several cities across the United States protesting Friday night over the death of George Floyd in police custody.
