(Montreal) Bombardier announced on Wednesday the sale of ten Challenger 350 business jets.
The company said in a statement that the customer prefers to remain anonymous and that the sale is “one of the largest business jet orders of 2020”.
The transaction is estimated at US $ 267 million.
Under ideal conditions, the Challenger 350 business jet could fly from New York to Los Angeles or London, and from Paris to Dubai nonstop, Bombardier said.
Launched in 2013, the Challenger 350 jet is powered by two Honeywell HTF7350 engines and can carry up to eight passengers.
“This order emphasizes the excellent value of customers on the aircraft ‘s unmatched capabilities,” Bombardier President and CEO Eric Martell wrote in a statement.
“Bombardier’s newly revamped portfolio and growing service network will keep the company strong as global interest in business aviation grows with the security provided by the company,” he said.
Challenger jets assemble at the Bombardier Aviation Plant in Montreal.
