Christmas Mass will sell out

Christmas Mass has always been very popular and despite the limited space due to COVID, only a handful of worshipers were able to attend in person on Thursday. In and around Sherbrook, churches were packed on December 24th!

Christmas Mass will not be heard at 2 p.m., in the Basilica of St. Michel Cathedral. It was the first in a series of five celebrations on Thursday, attended by only 25 people.

“It simply came to our notice then. I’ve been ready for 40 years and I’ve never seen one! ”Said Mgr. Luke Sir, Archbishop of Sherbrook.

All reservations were flown in 15 minutes. Some have reserved their places during the festive week.

“For me it is a message of hope and together we can get out of it. Helping each other and helping others to fight against depression.”

As the mass was broadcast live in adjoining rooms allowed by religious institutions, those who missed the desired date turned to technology.

This time in Granby, it came first, served first. The parishioners decided to broadcast their mass through Facebook.
