The Trump agency, which is facing criminal charges, will hire a new lawyer

The Trump organization, the holding company of former U.S. President Donald Trump, has hired a new attorney, strengthening their team as the Manhattan prosecutor’s investigation into suspicions of tax or bank fraud progresses, one of the attorneys confirmed Friday.

Attorney Alan Futurfas told AFP that the Trump organization, which is headquartered in Manhattan, has hired Ronald Fischett. Mr Fishetti “brings extraordinary experience, deep knowledge and invaluable knowledge,” he said, confirming information from the Wall Street Journal.

Mr Fishetti, 84, worked with a Manhattan district attorney for several years with attorney Mark Pomerantz, who heads the investigative team in charge of the Trump case.

No one knows if this investigation, conducted behind closed doors in front of a great jury, will lead to an indictment against the former U.S. president, the first in U.S. history.

After receiving eight years of tax returns and other financial documents from Donald Trump in late February – up to the U.S. Supreme Court after 18 months of war – the prosecutor seems to be working hard.

According to several American media outlets, his teams are currently trying to secure the 73-year cooperation of Allen Weiselberg, CFO of the Trump organization.

To persuade these believers to cooperate with the believers of the former New York real estate mogul, investigators are examining the dealings of his son, Trump organization employee Barry Weiselberg: his ex-wife was photographed Thursday carrying boxes of financial documents intended for researchers demanding the delivery of the Washington Post.

Elected Democrat prosecutor Vance, who is due to retire in late December, is investigating allegations that Trump was a mistress before the 2016 presidential election. But his investigation has since expanded to allegations of tax evasion, insurance fraud or bank fraud.

If Donald Trump is convicted of tax or banking fraud in New York, he faces the risk of imprisonment if convicted. But lawyers expect he to fight tooth and nail and believe the legal fight could last for years.

The former Republican president, now living in Florida, made a very discreet visit to New York in early March. Her eldest daughter Ivanka also moved to Florida, and her eldest son Donald Jr. also bought a property there in late March, the Palm Beach Post reported.
