The Soyuz capsule, carried by the Russians Sergei Ryazikov and Sergei Kud-Svertkov and the American Kate Rubins, arrived about 150 kilometers southeast of the city of Zezkazgan in Kazakhstan.

This is the first mission for former soldier Sergei Kud-Svertkov, and the second for former military pilot Sergei Ryzykov and molecular biologist Kate Rubins.
