It is now official that Patrick Marley has joined the legendary Gordy Howe at number one in the history of the National Hockey League (NHL).

Skating on the Minnesota Wild on Saturday, the 41-year-old took part in 1767E Career game, tying the former Detroit Red Wings.

Second in the 1997 Draft by the Sharks behind Joe Thornton, the Forward is ranked 23rd with 1,196 points so far.E Season on the Betman circuit.

If all goes according to plan, he will go to No. 1 in the NHL Games on Monday, heading to Vegas to face the Sharks Golden Knights.

The celebrations were short-lived, however, with Marley and the Sharks losing 5-2 at the hands of the Wild.

The California structure was the first to shine a light, thanks to Brent Burns.

Mats Zucarello, Joel Eriksson Ek and Jack Paris answered before the end of the first twenty. Kirill Kaprizov and Nico Sturm added their two cents in the second engagement.

Joel Kelman is the Sharks’ other scorer.
