United States: A passenger tries to enter the cabin

U.S. The passenger on the domestic route tried to enter the pilots’ cabin before neutralizing another passenger and crew, witnesses said.

Delta Air’s Los Angeles-Nashville flight had to make an emergency landing in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where the man was tied with a necklace plastic clamp to his arms and legs and dragged off the plane.

He said “Stop this plane!” According to footage shot by a phone on Friday, the cabin was struggling in front of the entrance.

A man on board testified on CNN television that the man, “apparently without provoking him, got up suddenly, went to the cockpit and started knocking on the door.”

Another passenger described the scene as “terrifying”, praising the crew’s reaction speed.

Albuquerque told the FBI on Twitter that it had intervened.

Delta said in a statement thanks to the attention of staff and passengers. “The plane landed without incident and the passenger was taken off the plane by police,” the airline said.

The other passengers spent five hours on a plane in Albuquerque, which brought them to Nashville.
