COVID-19 cases have been declining in Canada over the past few days as immunity has exceeded the weekly average.

In Canada, 407,963 doses of COVID-19 vaccine were given on Monday, with an average of 377,290 injections per week.
Meanwhile, 1,271 new cases were reported in Canada on Tuesday evening, bringing the total to 1,395,410 infections since the outbreak began.
In Quebec, the number of reported cases has also dropped to this encouraging level. In 24 hours, 150 new cases and 4 deaths were listed by Belle Province, a total of 372,109 infected and 11,156 dying since the outbreak began.
This is the number of daily infections in Quebec since early September and the third consecutive estimate of less than 200 infections in the province.
For its vaccine campaign, Quebec has given a total of 6,220,734 doses of vaccines, including first and second doses, since its inception. Overall, 75% of those aged 12 and over received the first dose, while 8% of Kubeckers were fully vaccinated.
With these encouraging data, the Franకోois Legalt government has confirmed that Quebec will continue its decontamination plan by bringing all areas in the yellow phase of the yellow zone from next Monday.
Ontario reported 469 new cases on Tuesday in the last 24 hours, down from 500 cases in eight months. Eighteen new deaths have been announced by provincial authorities.
At Maritimes, the trend has been very consistent over the past few days, with only one new case of COVID-19 in New Brunswick and only two cases on Prince Edward Island. Nova Scotia reports 14 new cases of coronavirus disease
In the west, British Columbia (165 cases), Alberta (139 cases and 3 deaths) and Saskatchewan (90 cases and 2 deaths) showed encouraging numbers. Manitoba, with 2 deaths, was newly registered with 237 new infections.
