Age According to their latest vaccination report, the total number of vaccinated persons and those who have made an appointment is already 82% at the age of 12-17 years.

“I’m very good. We have our biggest week and we’re really happy. Every day, young people are put on buses,” explained Patricia McKinnon, regional vaccination campaign director at CIUSSS de la Capitol National.

Many young people are hopeful that September could disrupt the third academic year. They can also be motivated to drop the mask and resume sports or other extracurricular activities.

72.3% of the Capitol-National total population received the first dose of the vaccine, indicating the highest vaccination coverage rate after Gaspe. The regional average is 67.7%. Adding the proportion of people given an appointment, this number increases to 73% of the total population.

In addition, the CIUSSS de la Capital-National’s vaccine-O bus hit the road on Monday.

This mini walk-in vaccination clinic is attracting attention and many people come.

Today and tomorrow, the vaccine-o-bus will be from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Vaccination capacity is 130 vaccines per day.

For the car vaccine, there are a few places left today and fifty places tomorrow. This special operation will take place in the indoor parking lot of Laval University’s PEPS.

If appointments for the 2nd dose are to be brought forward, the process seems to be going just as smoothly. New beaches will also be added soon with a large delivery of modarana vaccine doses.

“We have a large percentage of the population overdosing on their 2nd dose. The appointments we have made available are filled by mid – July, which is very good,” added Patricia McKinnon.
