Travelers from Canada and the United States – now classified as being in the Green Zone, ie with low transmission of the virus – do not need to observe a detention to reach France and can travel without a compelling reason, unless they are vaccinated against COVID-19.

If not vaccinated they will have to take a negative PCR or antigen test in less than 72 hours.

For their part, travelers from Turkey leave the Red Zone, especially through the active transmission of the infection or the spread of certain variants of SARS-CoV-2, at risk of transmissibility or immunization escape.

They are in the Orange Zone, where the virus is transmitted, but in a controlled proportion. If they are vaccinated, they are not subject to detention upon arrival and do not require a compelling reason, but must submit a negative PCR or antigen test on boarding.

On the other hand, if they are not vaccinated, they are subject to a number of restrictions (coercion, testing, seven days of self-isolation in France, etc.).

Finally, Afghanistan, the Maldives and Paraguay are in the Red Zone. Even if travelers from these countries are vaccinated, they must justify a compulsive cause, a negative PCR or antigen test less than 48 hours on board, and a systematic antigen test upon arrival in France, then seven days of self-segregation.
