COVID-19 | Record daily cases in China from January

(Beijing) China on Monday reported 76 new COVID-19 patients, the highest number since January, in a province bordering Shanghai, the most populous city in China.

The first country to face the coronavirus in late 2019, the Asian giant has almost eradicated the disease on its soil since the spring of 2020 and by then life had largely returned to normal.

Success is especially mandatory screenings in heavy screenings, rigorous detention or detention of all people coming from abroad.

But rare sources of pollution continue.

Of the 76 new patients announced by the Chinese Ministry of Health, 39 have been identified in Jiangsu Province, north of Shanghai in eastern China.

Thousands of residents of the provincial capital Nanjing are currently under control after a recent outbreak of an epidemic was discovered at its airport.

As of Sunday, 9.2 million people living in the metropolis will have to undergo a second screening test to identify patients who take longer than usual to show symptoms.

China follows a zero tolerance approach to the virus and is leading to a new outbreak, while a more contagious delta variant is raging in neighboring India and Burma.

A small Chinese town on the border with Burma is using face recognition cameras to monitor the movements of its inhabitants and to eliminate the small focus of COVID-19.
