The new epidemics brought the seven-day daily average to 450 cases.

More than half of the new cases, or 360, are in people who have not been vaccinated or who have received the first dose in less than 14 days. Thirty people who took a single dose at least 14 days ago and 201 people who took a second dose at least 7 days ago were infected.

In all, 425,393 Cubans were infected with COVID-19 and 11,493 died.

A total of 244 people were hospitalized due to the consequences of the virus. Of these, 67 are in intensive care.

Regarding the vaccine, 90% of Quebecs aged 12 years and older received the first dose of the vaccine. 87% of them reached twice.

The Department of Health estimates that people who are not vaccinated are six times more likely to get the disease and 20 times more likely to end up in intensive care.
