Protests by anti-vaccine activists and anti-health measures against Kovid-19 prevented him from returning home from the Ontario Premier weekend.
“The Prime Minister and his family have not been able to enter their home for the weekend or most of today because of anti – vaccine protests outside their home,” Dougford spokeswoman Ivana Yelich said in a tweet Monday night.
Toronto police on Sunday confirmed that protesters had gathered outside the prime minister’s home in the Etobicoke neighborhood of Toronto to protest the Ontario vaccination strategy.
Protesters often come to the front porch of the Prime Minister’s house throughout the epidemic to condemn the public health measures taken to curb the spread of the virus.
Doug Ford also received his third dose of the vaccine Tuesday morning and urged people to do the same.
“Every Antarctic needs to be protected from #Omicron. If you are eligible for your vaccine and booster, please sign up today, ”he tweeted.
