The group that owns the station, RNC Media Vice President Philip Lefebvre, announced in a press release this afternoon, “By mutual agreement, RNC and Jeff Phillian have finally agreed to host their final appearance on CHOI RADIO X’s airwaves tomorrow.”

The press release adds that the next comment will not be issued.

Fear wave

Exactly two weeks ago, Jeff Phillian surprised the radio world by announcing his departure from the station in August.

The station argued that Pillion had turned down the proposed restoration offer.

The host on Radio Pirate’s broadcast waves, his parallel internet radio, replied, “The RNC did not comply with my requests and my terms and decided not to offer me a new contract.”

He said on his internet radio that he would focus on the future as his affiliation with Radio X ended on April 14.

First start

Jeff Fillian joined CHOI in 1996. The station was rebuilt in 1998 and has since acquired Radio X recognition. It often qualifies as a radio-trash, a translation of an English word. The worst radio.

Jeff Phillian first left CHOI FM in 2005, with legal action and numerous complaints to the CRTC, including Sophie Chiason going to court.

He returned there in 2016 after a two-year stay at NRJ 98.9, which ended in controversy.

Substitute

According to experts in the radio world, the non-renewal of the host’s contract of 54 years may be linked to the fact that the station is still for sale.

Now and between the new fall programming, the station added that in collaboration with Patricia Vincent and Franకోois Garpie, the slot occupied by Yanick Marcio, Phillian will be taken from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
