Elizabeth II’s platinum jubilee celebrations are an opportunity for Prince Harry and his wife Meghan to make their big public return to the UK, but also a chance to restore ties with the royal family, according to a royalty expert.

Harry and Meghan will be appearing alongside the senior royals for the first time in 70 years of sovereign rule after moving to California in 2020 and will be closely watched.
“I think their decision to leave was a setback not only for the country, but also for the queen and the organization, and I do not think they can break it.” Omid Scooby, author of “Finding Freedom,” a book describing this devastating departure, was expected at a meeting of the Foreign Press Association in London.
