Search: Two missing in Saint-Charles River

The attempt to rescue a woman in distress on the Saint-Charles River turned tragic this evening, with her aide also swept away in the flood. Their whereabouts were not known until this evening.

Two young men in their twenties were near the bridge on the bicycle path of the Parc des Souls when the woman fell into the water for an unknown reason. The man who was with her tried to protect her, but the strength of the current and the presence of big eddies worked against him.
