YouTube removes Donald Trump trial video

The video uploaded by Capital Storming Inquiry was removed by YouTube because it showed, without context, that former President Donald Trump was discussing fraud in the 2020 election without evidence.

The parliamentary commission has been investigating the January 6, 2021 riots for almost a year when supporters of the former head of state attacked the assembly on the day of Joe Biden’s victory.

Elected officials will try to prove that Donald Trump’s rejection of the results is part of a well – considered strategy to retain power.

They posted on YouTube several videos of their inquiries, questionable day and summaries from reports and interviews.

In an interview withdrawn via the Google platform, the Republican billionaire assured that the votes intended for him were given to Joe Biden, without notes in the video or caption to indicate that it was false or that there was no evidence. Support this charge.

“Our Electoral Integrity Policy prohibits content that contains false claims that fraud, error or malfunctions have changed unless the results of the 2020 US presidential election are changed in a timely manner,” Ivy Choi, a service spokeswoman contacted by the AFP, recalled.

“We will apply our terms equally to all and we will remove the video posted by the Commission on January 6,” she added.

Donald Trump began to mention the danger of fraud before the election. Since his defeat, he has not stopped justifying his theory that the presidential election was “stolen” from him.

The so-called “January 6” commission, comprising seven Democrats and two Republicans, questioned nearly 1,000 witnesses, including two children of the former president, to shed light on Donald Trump’s actions after the election.

She did not immediately respond to a request from AFP for the video to be removed from YouTube.
