CAQ ministers are divided over the fact that MNA Marie-Yves Proulx is still a candidate, despite a new formal complaint of emotional abuse against her.

“This is the prime minister’s decision, I will allow this file to be handled,” Health Minister Christian Dubey said as he entered the cabinet on Wednesday. I think Mr. Legault is very clear. He is waiting for the results of the court, so let the Prime Minister handle it.
Others instead came to the defense of Marie-Eve Proulx. “I worked with Marie-Eve and it went well,” said Andre Laforest, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing.
For his part, Pierre Fitzgibbon confirmed that he was not aware of the file or the complaint, but that Ms. Proulx was “a person.” [qu’il] Respect”. He also acknowledged that “we have to be careful with these behaviors”.

Several ministers also emphasized that psychological abuse is unacceptable.
The “Journal de Quebec” reported on Tuesday that Ms. A new complaint has been filed against Proulx for emotional abuse.
