In the viral video (in English) captured by a surveillance camera, we see the delivery lady ringing the doorbell, looking angry.
The customer answers him to leave the order at the doorstep, without opening the door.
“I don’t think you know the distance I have to travel,” she insists.
The customer, confused, questions him and reiterates to leave the bag at the entrance.
She replied, “No, I want to talk to you, actually.”
After the customer asks for an explanation, the delivery man explains that he doesn’t think the customer understands where the food came from and how far it had to travel to get to his house, saying, “Otherwise you wouldn’t have left that amount . . .
Although the woman repeatedly says that she had to drive for more than 40 minutes, the man assures her that the journey will not take more than 15 to 20 minutes.
She asks the customer to review the tip amount.
Annoyed, he replies: “What are you looking for? I tipped you $8!” ($10 CAD).
After this response, the delivery lady leaves the premises without delivering the order to the ungrateful customer.
