Three fraudsters were caught on surveillance cameras stealing an unsuspecting victim’s credit card at a Walmart branch.
Video footage shows their raid, where they disorient their victim and then grab his credit card.
Video released by police in Arvada, Colorado, shows the suspects aiming at a customer who was about to leave the store.

A man and a woman first approach the customer asking to use the vending machine.
The man took some cash and pretended to drop it at the customer’s feet.

The customer takes his wallet to store the money. At that point, the scammer hands him a new ticket, which is also found on the floor.

However, the thief reaches for the victim’s wallet and hands him a note. If the money note is hidden in the wallet, the thief steals the customer’s credit card from it.

The maneuver is very fast. The woman who accompanies the thief also takes care to divert the attention of their victim so that the latter sees nothing but the fire.
In possession of the credit card, the scammers spent a total of $1,994 (C$2,645) at the same Walmart, the police report.
The victim reported the fraudulent charges to his banking institution.
