(San Francisco) American billionaire Elon Musk has announced that he wants to remove a function on X, the social network he owns, that allows him to block messages from certain accounts.

This feature is intended to limit trading between specific accounts on the platform.
Elon Musk, who bought Twitter for $44 billion in October, has always defended the changes he introduced to the platform with a desire to promote maximum freedom of expression.

Since the American billionaire’s takeover, the social network, used by people of all faiths around the world, has seen its advertising revenues plummet, thanks to the promotion of all forms of expression, including hate, and the resurgence of extremist user accounts.
According to the Center for Counter Digital Hate (CCDH), hate messages are resurging on the platform, which X, who filed a complaint against the CCDH, denied.
In December Elon Musk reopened the account of former President Donald Trump, who was banned from the platform in early 2021 for his role in an attack on the Capitol on January 6 of the same year challenging the 2020 outcome. A presidential election that gave victory to Joe Biden.
