According to a new study by the National Institute for Research on SMEs, the desire to become an entrepreneur is on the decline in Quebec. Mouvement québécois de la Qualité president and CEO, Guy Martel, explained that entrepreneurs face more complications when faced with this type of economic volatility.
“Entrepreneurs see a wall in front of them that is more complex than ever,” he asserted in an interview. 8:30 p.m.
Henceforth, the job of a business manager required a lot of “mastery”. Thus, the ability to adapt to new problems and new contexts changes fundamentally.
“An entrepreneur must be strategic to make important and strategic decisions. He must lower himself to the level of operations and join hands to collaborate with his employees,” says Mr. Martel.
Now, the “social factor” is gaining immense momentum among entrepreneurs, who must consider criteria such as “looking good”.
Still, Mr. Martell said he had faith in the younger generations. “We must continue to be bold, confident in taking on the challenges, this is the only way we can overcome,” commented Mr. Martel.
