A vegan bakery in Long Island, New York has “voluntarily recalled” some of its products. The establishment is also reportedly at the center of an investigation for allegedly trying to pass off a donut from Dunkin's Donuts as one of its pastries.

The owner of “The Savory Figure” bakery, Michele Siriani, was reportedly arrested by the vegan grocer after a suspicious donut was found mixed in with other products in a recent delivery, the “New York Post” reported.
“I'm adamant that I will never give up on Dunkin' Donut being gluten-free or vegan,” Siriani told local news outlet “News 12 Long Island.”
For its part, CindySnacks – the grocer who denounced the bakery – was not convinced by the baker's arguments and decided to test the product. According to the result shared on Instagram, high amounts of gluten were detected.
