Samsung has announced that it will be bringing the Galaxy M11 smartphone to the UK later this month, and the handset has a bigger sales point than the Galaxy S20 and Note 20. Especially from Samsung Channels and Amazon. The M11 is the latest budget Samsung device to hit the UK shores, but despite the low, low price of £ 149, it manages the flagship Galaxy S20 and Note 20 models well in a crucial area.
The Galaxy M11 is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery larger than the power pack installed on the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy S20 handsets.
The Galaxy S20 has a 4,000 mAh battery, while the Galaxy Note 20 has a 4,300 mAh battery.
The large battery of Samsung’s new Galaxy M11 handset means that it gives you enough juice to stand up all day, struggling with very high-end handsets.
But the heavy battery is not the only big selling point of the M11. Despite the low price, the Galaxy M11 has a triple-rear camera setup, fast charging support and a larger screen.

The budget Samsung phone has a 6.4 inch HD + Infinity-O display, which gives plenty of screen size to any Mammoth Netflix Binges. The 19.5: 9 display ratio comes with Dolby Atmos Audio, which helps you immerse yourself further in any boxset you get on the go or during movie marathons.
And the handset can be unlocked with the classic rear fingerprint scanner or with more advanced facial recognition. According to its cheap price tag, there are many compromises – namely RAM and storage volume.
The Galaxy M11 comes with just 32GB of internal storage, but it can be expanded via a microSD slot, which supports card housing up to 512GB. Also, the Galaxy M11 only has 3GB of RAM. But, given its ridiculous price, these may make you happy.
Speaking about the Galaxy M11, Samsung UK and Ireland Sales Vice President James Kitto said: “With the beautiful display, smart triple camera setup and ultimate battery life, the Galaxy M11 offers all the great features our customers expect from a Samsung device.
“We believe we can democratize innovation and M11 on the newest device in our M series, which offers excellent specs at an affordable price.”
With global concerns over how the economy will recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, a budget smartphone may seem like the right choice for you right now. Google has recently announced that their upcoming Pixel 5 flagship is set for a “recession”, priced much lower than previous devices released by the tag 599 – Mountain View company.
Commenting on the decision, Google’s Rick Osterloh said: “The world just seems to need another $ 1,000 phone right now.
And if you like to think the same way, and you want to save your money on something other than an expensive smartphone, the Galaxy M11 might be the right choice for you.
