If this is true this year IPhone 12 If the models are unlikely to have displays that offer faster refresh rates, then you can get some comfort with the idea that this feature will be coming to the iPhone next year.
This is a quote from Japanese investment banking firm Mizuho Securities, which posted its hint about the iPhone 13 ahead of the release of the 2021 iPhone. As Performance expert Ross Young highlighted, Next year’s Pro models will have the same variable refresh rates as Samsung added this year, the report said. Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.
Does it feel a little weird to talk about the iPhone 13 when the iPhone 12 has not yet been announced? Welcome to the world of smartphone rumors, where the most iconic model always comes out after the latter.
From my point of view the most important development in the iPhone 13 models will be promotion with variable refresh rates through LTPO adoption on Pro models.October 2, 2020
Pro models are likely to change the refresh rate of those screens. Young says the ITF13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro will have variable refresh rates using Max LTPO technology. This allows phones to dynamically change refresh rates to adjust for any activity you do. Scrolling and playing games use a faster refresh rate, while looking at still images slows things down to save battery life.
There have long been rumors that a 120 Hz refresh rate has been set for iPhones this year – or at least for the iPhone 12 models. But growing Apple Watchers are expected to stop adding that feature to models coming this month.
IPhones are likely to have an integrated touch next year. As Young explained in a later tweet, the display supplier bought the sensor and designed a touch sensor on the OLED layers instead of laminating on the panel. I.e. low cost thinner displays.
Another important change is the iPhone 13 Mini and the camera sensor in the iPhone 13. It’s Apple’s use of the upcoming iPhone 12 Max, which marks a major improvement in the cameras for the four iPhone 13 models. (IPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max get their own updates.)
An interesting note on the Mizuho Securities chart is 5G, where the company estimates that next year’s Pro models will only work with all versions of the 5G, with the iPhone 13 Mini and iPhone 13 being limited to sub-6GHz networks. As 5G networks evolve, this prediction seems to be very rooted here and now and does not reflect how 5G performance will be a year from now.
As for the iPhone this year, we are still waiting for an announcement from Apple IPhone 12 Launch Event Let’s verify all the features that the new devices are rumored to feature. Pro models of the iPhone 12 are expected to add a lidar sensor to their rear camera range, while the iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 12 should adopt LED screens instead of the LCD panel used by the iPhone 11. We are also looking for all iPhone 12 models to add 5G connectivity.
As Apple sets the October 13 launch event in the coming days, we will soon find out what is in the iPhone 12 Store. As for the iPhone 13, we have another 12 months of rumors ahead of us.
