The new data confirmed a total of 150,915 confirmed cases and 3,346 deaths
The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) on Friday announced 860 new confirmed cases and 54 new potential cases of COVID-19, 21 additional confirmed deaths and 1 new potential death. Care facilities, commonly known as supportive living facilities. These guidelines are also recommended for intermediate care facilities for people with intellectual disabilities. Guidelines for indoor and outdoor visits are based on recent CMS guidance for reopening nursing homes, as well as CDC guidance for COVID-19 in nursing homes. A new weekly report, available online for the first time on Tuesday, October 13, begins with a visit to all nursing homes and community residential care facilities in the state. DHEC’s Public Health Laboratory operates for extended hours and tests samples seven days a week, and the Public Health Laboratory’s current time limit is 24-48 hours to provide results to health care providers. The percentage was 8,124 (excluding antibody tests) and the percentage positive was 10.6% of the total personal test results reported positively to DHEC across the state yesterday.
