A new collective agreement has been signed at Revenu Quebec

The Quebec Revenue Agency announced Monday that it is signing a new collective agreement with the Union of Public and Parapublic Services of Quebec.

The union’s nearly 6,300 members approved the agreement in principle in late August to renew their collective agreement, following strike action last spring.

The agreement, effective April 1, 2020, covers office, technical and labor staff for a period of six years, the tax administration said in a press release.

In particular, it provides for a 2% annual salary increase, floating holidays and a substantial increase in the employer’s contribution to the health insurance scheme.

According to Revenu Québec, work is planned to increase skill, attractiveness and retention and may lead to an improvement in the classification and wage structure.

“I am very pleased with the agreement signed today. This is the result of negotiations in a good spirit of cooperation,” said Christine Tremblay, President and CEO of Revenu Quebec.

“I also believe that these improvements will allow our company to retain its expertise and gain a better position in terms of attractiveness,” explains Revenu Quebec’s CEO.
