QUB radio host Benoît Dutrizak didn’t mince his words when he described the “Montreal Gazette” caricature as “disgusting,” where we see a dog urinate on a poster highlighting René Levesque’s 100th birthday.

“This is a Quebecophobic newspaper. But there, to see a dog barking in front of a poster highlighting René Levesque’s 100th birthday, there are cursed limits. This caricature is obviously droll,” he said in his presentation on Tuesday. He then added in the same breath that he was tired of being scolded like this.
During his meeting with Mr. Dutrizac on QUB Radio, Richard Martineau said pissing on René Levesque on this caricature was an annoyance to the people of Quebec. “Quebec is the target. The most “weird” thing is that “L’Acadie-Nouvelle” came out with all the laughs at the Taliban. That is Islamophobic and horrible. But it’s okay to piss on René Levesque,” he joked.
Mr. According to Martino, people don’t get angry and lie on the floor, people sweep their feet on them. The latter wondered if Dominique Anglade, leader of the Quebec Liberal Party, could stand to say the caricature was unacceptable.
On social networks, Paul Saint-Pierre Plamondon, leader of the Parti Québécois, urged all leaders to condemn the caricature. A few minutes later, in an interview at the microphone of Benoît Dutrizak, Mr. Plamondon insists he is not surprised to see such caricature.
“It’s shocking every time. It gives, a country lying on the ground,” he denounced.
