According to a new Quebec index of passenger ratings, Montrealers who use Uber for their rides don’t appear to be on good terms with drivers.

The index, published for the first time by the company on Tuesday, showed good marks for the top two cities nationally, Sherbrooke and Trois-Rivières.
In the regional ranking, Montreal is fifth behind Gatineau and Quebec, but Quebec City can take solace because, on the register of bad marks, it is surpassed nationally by Ottawa and Toronto.
Uber drivers rate customers on a number of factors, including their respectful attitude toward them, readiness to get on, fasten their seat belts and the reflex of slamming the door when getting out of the vehicle.
According to Uber, “Passengers can see how many drivers gave them a 5-star rating or…just 1 star!” Users can contact the application at any time by accessing its Privacy Center.
