Blink-182 singer Mark Hoppus has cancer

Blink-182 singer and guitarist Mark Hoppus revealed on Wednesday that he has cancer.

“For the past three months, I have been undergoing chemotherapy treatments for cancer. It sucks and I was scared, but at the same time I was blessed to have amazing doctors, family and friends. I still have months of treatment, but I’m trying to be optimistic and positive, ”he shared on Twitter.

The 49-year-old musician posted a photo of himself on his Instagram account, sitting in a chair with an IV in hand.

Tom DeLong, co-founder of the group, was quick to offer his support on Twitter, “having known for a long time about his friend’s confirmation.”
