Customers of several Canadian banks were experiencing problems Friday due to a global computer outage that occurred overnight.

The issues differ from one financial institution to another and even from one customer to another.
Some customers told TVA Nouvelles that they were unable to access their bank account, while others claimed that their payment was not deposited.
Viewers, on their part, have also written to us to let us know that everything is working normally.
Desjardins said on Friday morning that some of its employees were unable to access their computers, but AccèsD Internet and Mobile indicated that its ATMs were working.
“All teams are mobilized to ensure that impacts on our members and customers are limited,” a Desjardins spokesperson explained.
TD Bank customers have also indicated on social networks that they are having trouble with unpaid federal benefits.
The National Bank, on its part, stressed that its teams are constantly monitoring the situation.
“Our online and mobile services, debit and credit cards and ATMs are fully functional,” she said.
