Change to “progressive” at PLQ: Anglade proposes to review minimum bidder’s rule

The Liberal Party of Quebec (PLQ) is trying to position itself as a “progressive party”. Chef Dominic Anglade has proposed reviewing the provision that a public call for tenders is automatically won by the lowest bidder.

According to the new liberal economic vision, companies that want to do business with the state should also show that they care about environmental and social issues.
